Hyve Group’s goal towards CSR is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Hyve Group believes that Education is a right and it is an absolute key to progress in life, hence, having access to education is massively important for such under-privileged kids.

During FY 2023-24, Hyve India undertook CSR initiatives aimed at promoting education for the underprivileged and also supporting the differently abled.

Spread Smiles, Uniform For All: Hyve India focused on the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) student category, that covers children whose parents have total annual family income of less than one lakh rupees. In partnership with Dream a Difference, 154 students from the EWS category were identified at the ‘Vivekanand School’ run by ‘Vivekanand Shiksha Samiti'. These were students from Nursery to Class 8th. School uniforms were distributed to these children.

Wheels of Hope | Empowering Mobility: Under this initiative, Hyve India in partnership with Dream a Difference provided electric wheelchairs to four differently-abled children.

To support healthcare for the unprivileged students, in collaboration with the Centre for Sight, a general eye screening day-camp was also organized. This initiative aimed to provide essential eye care facilities to the children, ensuring early detection and treatment of vision-related issues.

The aforesaid initiatives also align with the Indian Government's initiatives:

  • Padhega India, Tabhi to Badhega India’ (‘India will study, then only India will progress’),

  • National Programme for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment.

These initiatives fulfill the following Sustainable Development Goals:

  • Goal no. 3 (Good Health & Well Being)

  • Goal no. 4 (Quality Education)

  • Goal no. 5 (Gender Equality)

  • Goal no. 10 (Reduced Inequalities)

Hyve wishes to continue its support towards education of unprivileged children through more such initiatives in the future.
